Choosing a dentist who clicks with you & your family is important. During your appointment consider the following
Your teeth may feel fine, but it's still important to see the dentist regularly because problems can exist without you knowing.
With much advanced technology in dentistry you no longer have to settle for stained, chipped, missing or misshapen teeth.
Clean it mildly in running water & if you can try to put the tooth back then place it in tooth socket. Then visit us immediately.
If you cannot put your tooth back in then place in a glass of milk & visit us immediately within half an hour. Sure we can save your teeth.
If you bite your tongue or lip severely, clean the area gently with water & apply a cold compress. Visit your dentist if there is excess bleeding.
Fluoride is a mineral that occurs naturally in many food & water. Breved tea, Canned fish, cooked kale, spinach, apple, milk are source of fluoride.
Research says people with diabetes are more prone to gum disease. If blood glucose level are poorly controlled you may likely develop gum disease & finally loss of teeth. So regular check up need.

Introduction
Root canal treatment is a common dental procedure that helps save an infected or damaged tooth. However, many people have questions and concerns about this treatment. In this blog post, we will provide answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about root canal treatment. By addressing these concerns, we aim to alleviate any fears or misconceptions you may have, helping you make informed decisions about your dental health.

What is a root canal treatment?
A root canal treatment, also known as endodontic therapy, is a dental procedure performed to save a tooth that has an infected or inflamed dental pulp. The dental pulp, which consists of nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue, is located inside the tooth's root canals.
Why might I need a root canal?
You may require a root canal treatment if you have a severely decayed tooth, a deep dental cavity, a cracked or fractured tooth, or a dental abscess. These conditions can lead to pulp infection, causing pain, sensitivity, swelling, or even tooth loss if left untreated.
How is a root canal procedure performed?
The root canal procedure typically involves the following steps:

Is a root canal painful?
Contrary to popular belief, root canal treatments are performed under local anesthesia, ensuring that you won't experience any pain during the procedure. Modern techniques and advances in dentistry have made root canal treatments more comfortable and efficient than ever before.
How long does a root canal treatment take?
The duration of a root canal treatment varies depending on the complexity of the case and the tooth involved. In general, a root canal procedure can be completed in one or two appointments, lasting approximately 60 to 90 minutes each. Complex cases may require additional visits.
What should I expect after a root canal?
After a root canal treatment, you may experience temporary sensitivity or mild discomfort, which can be managed with over-the-counter pain relievers. It is essential to follow your dentist's instructions regarding oral care and attend any necessary follow-up appointments for optimal healing and restoration.
Are there any alternatives to a root canal?
In cases where a tooth is severely damaged or infected, a root canal treatment is often the best option to save the tooth. Extraction may be considered as an alternative, but it is generally recommended to preserve natural teeth whenever possible. Extracted teeth may require additional dental procedures, such as dental implants or bridges, to restore functionality and aesthetics.
How successful is a root canal treatment?
Root canal treatments have a high success rate, typically ranging from 85% to 97%. With proper oral care, including regular brushing, flossing, and dental check-ups, the treated tooth can last a lifetime.
Can a root canal treatment be performed on any tooth?
Root canal treatments can be performed on most teeth, including incisors, canines, premolars, and molars. However, in some cases, tooth extraction may be the only viable option if the tooth's structure is severely compromised.
Are there any risks or complications associated with root canal treatment?
As with any dental procedure, there are potential risks and complications associated with root canal treatment. These may include infection recurrence, fracture of the tooth, or damage to nearby structures. However, with proper technique and adherence to sterile protocols, the risk of complications is minimal.
How much does a root canal treatment cost?
The cost of a root canal treatment can vary depending on factors such as the tooth's location, complexity of the case, and whether a dental crown is needed for restoration. It is best to consult with your dentist, who can provide an accurate estimate based on your specific situation.
How can I find a skilled dentist for a root canal treatment?
To find a skilled dentist for a root canal treatment, consider the following:
